Anjuli - anjulicverma@gmail.com

AnjuliAnjuli takes the stage with her signature blend of sensuality, athleticism and classical dance technique. She artfully combines long balletic lines with energetic rhythm and release sure to get any audience’s blood pumping and feet thumping. Her early years as a dancer were spent in a typical neighborhood jazz, tap and ballet dance studio in the small town of Auburn, Alabama, and rocking out to Bhangra beats at the many Indian weddings she endured and enjoyed. It wasn’t long before Anjuli adventured to New York City where she took open classes at the American Ballet Theater, Steps on Broadway and the Broadway Dance Center and, yes, even auditioned for the Rockettes. After fleeing New York City for sunny California, she discovered the adrenaline rush of aerial dance. When Anjuli is not suspended in the air, she can be found dancing to her heart’s content on the ground. And don’t hold it against her that she wanted to be a Rockette. It was a long time ago.

Erika - androiid@aol.com | www.myspace.com/ekaextraordinaire

ErikaLaydee Eka is a playful spirit who dreams of forever viewing the world through the eyes of a child.  She adores living her life in reverie while curiously dancing on suspended silk, peg stilts, or while enthusiastically moving her body into contorted shapes.  Her quirky, creative mind is also expressed through her imaginative and often absurd stylings, giving her unique costume creations a peculiar quality.  No matter what form she takes Eka is sure to evoke enjoyment through her eccentricities.

Eva -

ValerieEva Jacobs aka “White Chocolate” is Lunacy’s resident hula hoop artist, pole dancer and naughty treasurer. A ballet school dropout at age 7, she toured the world with the Suicide Girls after her big break at the infamous Cheetah Club. Eva may lack formal training, but she is always on her toes. She aspires to one day become a true “Girl Gone Wild” or an officer of the law. May not be suitable for small children.

Monet -

Monet’s landscape of corporeal vocabulary has been made possible by her classical training in ballet, jazz, modern dance, and the Halprin Life-Art Process - this FL cracker can hyperextend her body into a plethora of enticingly compromised positions.   Her style moves from the subtle and subterranean to sensual and ecstatic with past performances ranging from the West Coast Dance Project in Sarasota FL, the HookahDome desert oasis at Burning Man, to shows in clowntastica for the secret society of ODO.  When not in the midst of an existential dance experience or sexual clowning for Lunacy shows, Monet can be found providing pain relief and pleasure with tiny needles and herbal remedies at Five Branches School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
